 Great Piece of Software! This is great, I have been testing it and it works wonderfully - we have two cats who make great test subjects. However, having the cats, I found it best NOT to monitor for sound. They set the thing off constantly. We live in an apartment and will be monitoring for any unauthorized entry into our unit. We will adjust the camera to human-level so that the cats running around do not constantly set off the motion detection.Only complaint: we downloaded the trial version, and on realizing we wanted the full version, purchased it THROUGH the trial version. Great software This is one of the easiest programs to get running. Setting up a streaming video from a webcam was a snap.

 I think it is a nice try for this software. SWB Webcam Surveillance Monitor is very useful on video surveillance. It is very sensitive, when there is a montion it will sound alarms to let me know. Also it will catch snapshots while the montion is happenning. Which I like best, the price is very low. I dont need to spend much for a video surveillance sysytem.

Trial Run Firstly I use works EMAIL rather thatn home email to cover internet links - makes for better security etc.I downloaded your software to review it for a home based method of checking on pet cat and home security to garden during the day. Not quite what I wanted - as i needed to output section of AVI rather thatn still photographs. Even your series of snapshots is cumbersome. Especially as conversion only goes to .MOV.Probably will still look around for other WEBCam software.
 Good Product I'm happy with your product, but not ready to purchase. I downloaded it because I travel a lot, and I'd like to know what the "cleaning-lady" is doing while I'm out. I haven't been able to test it the way I want to, yet. Can it run while the laptop is locked/pasword protected? I also had a problem with my "motion detection" staying at 900+ with no movment on the screen. Reminds me of similar progs for the old 8/16 bit computers many years ago.

A really nice piece of software. I have been having problems with the local network going down. This software is brilliant simple to install and easy to use. I would recoment it to anyone who has issues with website and network down times, because often it is having the evidance that mnakes people do things.
Could almost be great Adding down to the second monitoring would be great. Also I work at a server colocation. It would be great if there was a web interface so customers could login view alarms and disable them over the internet. These are the main features holding us back from purchasing the product.

 HAVING a HARD TIME Every time I close it and 5 min. Or so goes by and I open it again it says it's still running and I have to shut my pc down and start all over again. And when I setup my network pcs and watch them, and then I close everything and come back later to look at them again they wont connect I don't know why, so I uninstall it and reinstall it again and it works and that's all I can remember for now but please tell me where I can go to for support, and is there a return ...
